Update
ALOT has happened since we last posted so here we go!
1.The Perfect Pregnancy Workout DVD. I'm looking forward to this and cant wait to start it. Hopefully i can look like this chick in the DVD who is well toned for a woman whos 8 months prego (but what would u expect from a former Cirque De Solei acrobat?)

2.I went up to BYU Idaho this pass weekend to visit my sis inlaw Abbie and get to hang with the In-laws a bit. We mainly went for my sis-inlaws (Abbie Dunn) Collegiate Dancers Showcase!!! It was awesome and i promise ill post videos soon.
3. Happy Anniversary to us. We have officially been married one year!!! And might i add Its kinda annoying that our One Year Anniversary(!!) coincides with Michael Jacksons one year death anniversary... Just saying.....
4.We visited Temple Square last friday (Our Anniversary)with the in-laws and shopped a little a desert book. I found this Cute quote that said, "You know you're in love when you cant sleep cuz reality is finally better than ur dreams."
5. Daybreakers: A vampire movie that we watched recently. it wasnt that bad and i thought it was original. usually with vampire movies they're all goth and what not but this one takes place in the future (2019) and the worlds blood supply for vampires is low so they have to find an alternative or a cure. We also watched the behind the scenes on this and the guys that dreamt this up remind me alot of Russell (my brother).
6.Oh ya.....WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!! I wish i could c what the baby is doing right now but i cant. At least i have A prego calendar to help me out imagining what he/she is going through ha ha Im 15 weeks on Tuesday June 29th. Our baby is due December 20th, 2010. A couple of weeks ago i was just sitting on the couch then i started thinking about the little baby, the cute little spirit thats growing in my belly.....i want to cry cuz im so happy and jon and i r so blessed :D
7.THANK YOU BLUSHING BABY BOUTIQUE for choosing me to win ur contest! Im so happy cuz i hardly ever win anything but this will come in handy in Dec. when r baby comes!
8. I heard this cool quote at church on fathers day: Any guy can b a father figure but it takes that one special guy to be called Daddy. Happy fathers day to all u dads, soon to b dads and father figures out there! ur doing great! Happy Fathers day honey from me and the grapefruit in my tummy. Earlier this year we thought that my dad wouldnt be able to make it to fathers day let alone his birthday but he did!!! Im glad we got to have another one with him!
9.My TOY STORY 3 Review: Adults and kids will undoubtedly shed a tear or
two for Toy Story 3 but thats how great the folks at pixar r, they make
u feel genuine emotions for hunks of plastic. i was completely
flabbergasted that a movie about toys could make me so emotional but
then again im pregnant..... I have nothing whatsover bad or critical to
say about this movie.
10.Lately my husband has been forcing me to watch the world cup.......k not really but r apt is tiny and i have no where else to run to so im forced to watch it!
(here's some random thoughts that i had as well)
11.I love it when they advertise 3-D tv on 2-d tv. it totally looks like real 3-D.
12.Hates how commercials or radio jingles ruin ur fav songs.

I suck at posting....There i said it.
I suck at posting and there i said it. I decided that im going to take all of my facebook status's, put them up here and then comment on my reason behind them so i can re-cap from the last time i posted to now cuz i cant really keep track of what i did since i last posted. he he hope that made sense.
K so starting from today!
1.(April 5th) Whats with the band singers on Dancing With The Stars? Did the producers go to Kareoke Bars to find them?

2.(April 5th) Marty Mcfly is quite possibly the coolest character ever created.
-He honestly is. Although Marty is often accident prone and sometimes thought to lack critical thinking skills, he is nevertheless brave in the face of danger and can be very resourceful and clever with the help of catchy Phrases and the worlds coolest sneakers which are actually going to be available in the year 2015. 3.(April 4th)My bro Bobby will be home in less than 46 days from the mission! Woot Woot.
-Oh Boy how i have missed him. I was a little saddened by the fact that he couldnt make it to my special day last year but he had a very good reason and i would only take that one and nothing else so he is automatically forgiven :D ha ha ha Boy how i have missed him. I cant wait to teach him how to play wii when he gets home. this will be interesting..... Heres a throw back pic of us two in r younger years.
4.(April 4th)My husband makes the worlds best popcorn and ya know what? Its from the kettle and not from a bag! HA!
-We got this popcorn kettle cooker as a wedding gift and let me tell u it was the best gift that we have ever received that we never registered for! I have no idea how to use it and im sure it wouldnt be that hard to learn except that my husband honestly does make the worlds best popcorn. He can either make a light carmely concoction or a nice fresh popped salted buttery one. My little brother loved this kettle cooker so much that we got him one for Xmas last year. I fully intend to take it camping with us.
5.(April 4th)I surprised Jon this morning with an easter basket......lets just say he was REALLY surprised and REALLY LoVeD it!!!!!!!
-I asked Jon last week if he wanted an easter basket on easter. He said no and went on to tell me that that kinda stuff is for when u have kids and we dont need to do it. I agreed through my teeth and went behind his back and surprised him with an easter basket! He was thrilled and said it was an awesome surprise. Jokingly I asked him, 'Where's my easter basket?"(eventhough i had my own basket stashed out of sight for the moment :D) and then a look of sadness fell on his face and he said he felt bad cuz he didnt think to get me one. I asked if he would share his and he said that he would and then i told him dont bother cuz i got my own and i pulled out my own basket. Mwahahahahahaha! he didnt feel so bad after that and he gave me props for my awesome sneaky ninja skills.
Also on that joyful easter day it unwelcomingly snowed! but it ended up melting before the kids had their easter egg hunt. It was still a wee little cold but i loved how the little ones gave up after 5 minutes and yet there was still 100 visible eggs........ Heres some pics :D
Heres a couple of pics of Jon and I holding our new niece Milana Rose Andrew. She is such a charmer. Someday soon we will get to have one of these. We are literally parents in training.
6.(April 3rd) Lana Renee Dunn Is watching conference. Loved President Monsons opening talk.
-Conference Was Pure Awesomeness this year!!! From President Monsons opening talk saturday morning all the way to his closing talk on Sunday afternoon. The spirit was greatly felt here in the Dunn Family Home :D Heres A great re-cap in the Salt Lake Tribune.

8.(April 2nd)Lana Renee Root Dunn Is giving her apartment some color.
-I FINALLY put up our curtains and picture frames (Thank you command hooks) and added some accent pillows and flowers. It now looks ten times better. Here are some pics and videos. I think im actually going to sand down our coffee table and paint it black so that it will match our tv stand.

12. (March 30th)Lana Renee Dunn Made a new dress! Snaps for me. ive gots madd skillz.
-Jon and i went to the mall a couple of days previous to this comment. Since i recently throw out a bunch of church dresses and skirts that no longer fit me i decided i needed some new ones. We went to Downeast cuz i love their skirts. i took one look at them and decided that i could make my own for much cheaper, save money and base it off of their style of skirts that i love so much. so i did and viola! I made a beautiful yellow/brown combo of a dress. Its slightly 1950s inspired. I dont plan on wearing it until i find the right belt to wear it with cuz i feel like it needs a belt. I also made a really cute pink and brown floral skirt. Ill take pics as soon as i can :D
13. (March 29th)Has to work on sunday and to top it off we are also getting audited while im there! Boo!!!
-It was nerve racking since the regional mgr was there for 5 and a half HOURS!!!!!! But in the end we passed so im pretty much happy with that :D
14. (March 28th)I dont exactly remember where i got this quote from... A husband asked his wife one day, "You never argue when i get mad at you. How do you always control your anger?" "I clean the toilet." she replies. "How does that help?" he asks. "I use your tooth brush." she says.
-this quote reminds me of jon and i......except that i never have used Jons tooth brush to clean the toilet or for anything else ha ha ha. Jon and i have never had an argument which i guess isnt a bad thinking. We both dont like confrontations so before we married we laid down some rules. One was absolutely no unnecessary yelling. We planned on talking things out, to try to help each other to solve one anothers dilemmas, be the best listeners for each other, try to look at the situation from different points of view, to never keep anything boiled up for too long and that hugs and kisses are the best medicine. Its worked great so far. :D
15. Great just another little thing! my seat belt on my drivers side just broke!!!
-my car is a 2002 kia spectra. I got it off of my sis two years ago before they moved to China. I have a love hate relationship with this car. I love that its a Kia but hate how its just another thing that has to break on me. Well for one my car shakes incredibly bad. So bad that my seats literally feel like massage chairs that vibrate. i just got that taken care of in the last week of march. It ended up being that my motor mount was busted or not bolted down or something. We also have to get my drivers side seat belt fixed, my windshield has one major crack down the middle thanks to the hubby who tried to hand wash my car one day for me :D, the thing that holds my back windshield break light in place is falling apart because my car shook so bad. i think thats it but then again there could be a few more things. ha ha ha
16. (April 24th) Woot woot!!!! what a fab-u-lous night at gypsy tapestry!!! oh what a niggghhhtt!!!!! Fantasmic!!!
-Gypsy Tapestry is when women who live in the Utah county area come and perform Belly Dancing in celebration of sisterhood and yada yada yada. I decided to perform in two diferent dances that night even though students tend to just perform in one. I decided i wanted to do two cuz i wanted to push myself and see what my limits were and to prove to my elder sis (The Beautiful Belly Dancing Queen of My Universe! :D) and a few others that i am getting better.
One dance that i performed was my cousin Arjunas(Natalies) dance. I could do that dance in my sleep! It definitely wasnt easy choreography but i knew it and nailed it! Now my sis Julies choreography seemed easy but my mind couldnt make the connection it would seem. I had the hardest time getting the most simplest of steps down and an even harder time get the harder steps down. I have no idea why when something like belly dancing comes so natural to me. Its in my blood ha ha. Right before we went on i was practicing with my sis Julies class and i still hadnt gotten it entirely down. I swear i saw my sis give me an uneasy look(Not glaring! Just a wee bit worried mind u) ha ha. I was already planning on doing terrible in her dance so that by the time i would come on to do my cousin natalies dance i could redeem myself but lets just say i surprised myself!!! I went on to remember every single step and movement in my sister julies dance!!! I nailed it! I couldnt believe it. I guess for some reason i perform better under pressure. As i was walking off stage my sis and i ran into eachother and she told me that i was amazing and couldnt believe it either. I dont know who was more surprised ha ha. Ill post some videos later. Heres some pics for now.
17. Lana Renee Dunn Is finally doing something about this.........
-to this i was refering to my back. For the longest time i though that i had had a broken tail bone or a slipped disc and my back had been hurting particularly very bad that week so i decided to finally do something about it and went to the doc. He told me to my relief that i had nothing wrong with my spine except for that fact that my neck was to straight or to erect and the tiniest bit out of alignment. I never knew that ur neck could be too straight but he told me that i have a dancers neck. He said that it wasnt a bad thing about my neck being too straight and being slightly out of alignment but he said that a huge percent of people have something wrong with their neck and no matter what i will be feeling pain from time to time depending how stressed i am and that i should just take ibrophen. Now eventhough i didnt have in spinal problems in my lower back i did however have muscles and tendons that tore and never properly healed from when i use to play sports. He told me that again from time to time depending on the activity i am doing they will flare up on me and that i can take a strong dose of ibrophen for that or go to a chiropractor or massage therapist.

19. I think people put too much work and meaning and spelling into a name sometimes.
-at my place of employment i constantly come in contact with children and their crazy names. I think people put too much meaning into a name sometimes like naming ur son Race because both of the parents like to do marathons. One piece of advise my history teacher gave me before i graduated high school was never name ur kid bryan and spell his name like the word moon. You get it? Like it cant just be Amy any more it has to be Aimiee or Carolyn would have to be spelt like Karoylinne. Crazy!!!! I prefer classic names like Isla, Emmeline, Madelin or james, Bradly or Liam. Whatever happend to classic names?

We planned on talking things out, to try to help each other to solve one anothers dilemmas, be the best listeners for each other, try to look at the situation from different points of view, to never keep anything boiled up for too long and that hugs and kisses are the best medicine. Its worked great so far. :D
15. Great just another little thing! my seat belt on my drivers side just broke!!!
-my car is a 2002 kia spectra. I got it off of my sis two years ago before they moved to China. I have a love hate relationship with this car. I love that its a Kia but hate how its just another thing that has to break on me. Well for one my car shakes incredibly bad. So bad that my seats literally feel like massage chairs that vibrate. i just got that taken care of in the last week of march. It ended up being that my motor mount was busted or not bolted down or something. We also have to get my drivers side seat belt fixed, my windshield has one major crack down the middle thanks to the hubby who tried to hand wash my car one day for me :D, the thing that holds my back windshield break light in place is falling apart because my car shook so bad. i think thats it but then again there could be a few more things. ha ha ha
16. (April 24th) Woot woot!!!! what a fab-u-lous night at gypsy tapestry!!! oh what a niggghhhtt!!!!! Fantasmic!!!
-Gypsy Tapestry is when women who live in the Utah county area come and perform Belly Dancing in celebration of sisterhood and yada yada yada. I decided to perform in two diferent dances that night even though students tend to just perform in one. I decided i wanted to do two cuz i wanted to push myself and see what my limits were and to prove to my elder sis (The Beautiful Belly Dancing Queen of My Universe! :D) and a few others that i am getting better.
One dance that i performed was my cousin Arjunas(Natalies) dance. I could do that dance in my sleep! It definitely wasnt easy choreography but i knew it and nailed it! Now my sis Julies choreography seemed easy but my mind couldnt make the connection it would seem. I had the hardest time getting the most simplest of steps down and an even harder time get the harder steps down. I have no idea why when something like belly dancing comes so natural to me. Its in my blood ha ha. Right before we went on i was practicing with my sis Julies class and i still hadnt gotten it entirely down. I swear i saw my sis give me an uneasy look(Not glaring! Just a wee bit worried mind u) ha ha. I was already planning on doing terrible in her dance so that by the time i would come on to do my cousin natalies dance i could redeem myself but lets just say i surprised myself!!! I went on to remember every single step and movement in my sister julies dance!!! I nailed it! I couldnt believe it. I guess for some reason i perform better under pressure. As i was walking off stage my sis and i ran into eachother and she told me that i was amazing and couldnt believe it either. I dont know who was more surprised ha ha. Ill post some videos later. Heres some pics for now.
17. Lana Renee Dunn Is finally doing something about this.........
-to this i was refering to my back. For the longest time i though that i had had a broken tail bone or a slipped disc and my back had been hurting particularly very bad that week so i decided to finally do something about it and went to the doc. He told me to my relief that i had nothing wrong with my spine except for that fact that my neck was to straight or to erect and the tiniest bit out of alignment. I never knew that ur neck could be too straight but he told me that i have a dancers neck. He said that it wasnt a bad thing about my neck being too straight and being slightly out of alignment but he said that a huge percent of people have something wrong with their neck and no matter what i will be feeling pain from time to time depending how stressed i am and that i should just take ibrophen. Now eventhough i didnt have in spinal problems in my lower back i did however have muscles and tendons that tore and never properly healed from when i use to play sports. He told me that again from time to time depending on the activity i am doing they will flare up on me and that i can take a strong dose of ibrophen for that or go to a chiropractor or massage therapist.

19. I think people put too much work and meaning and spelling into a name sometimes.
-at my place of employment i constantly come in contact with children and their crazy names. I think people put too much meaning into a name sometimes like naming ur son Race because both of the parents like to do marathons. One piece of advise my history teacher gave me before i graduated high school was never name ur kid bryan and spell his name like the word moon. You get it? Like it cant just be Amy any more it has to be Aimiee or Carolyn would have to be spelt like Karoylinne. Crazy!!!! I prefer classic names like Isla, Emmeline, Madelin or james, Bradly or Liam. Whatever happend to classic names?

More New Stuff!!!
Hello Everyone!!
Here's some new things!!
Jon and I were called two weeks ago to be the new ward greeters. Our job is to make up the ward announcement every other week (We switch off with two or three other couples)and in the process we have to memorize every ones name and greet them! Gahh!! We only know just a handle full of people and even their names we sometimes forget. I(alana) don't even know the Bishops name :D.
I (Alana) got another calling as the Primary Chorister.....First off i can't even read musical notes (i took clarinet classes in 5th or 6th grade and i got kicked out because i couldnt read them and could only play by ear..funny) Second i can barely lead music. I can sing a high soprano and sometimes alto and that's about it ha ha. I met the children last week and there only ten and thats with a combind primary from another war. But they are all really sweet. The babys outnumber the primary children 4 to 1 ha ha. Theres sooooo many babys!!
I got over a cold/virus or whatever it was i had for three weeks. Ill tell u what i hate loosing my voice but Jon loves it ha ha just kidding he talks more than i ever could. I recently went to a physical therapist to see what been going with my wrist. He thought that it could be a handful of things like pre-carpel tunnel, gangely or gaggly-itis (forgot what that was) or a pinched nerve. He had me wear a brace for a week and take 800mg ibrophen. A week after the visit i came back for a check up and my wrist was fine and it stopped hurting. The best that it ever felt :D but its hurting again. Blah!
We are anticipating the much anticipated birth of Mila Rose Andrew!! Hurry up Krys and get that baba out!!
I started belly dance again. The dance is so far fun and upbeat and u cant help but clapping and dancing when the drums get going. :D

New Stuff
Jon and I are doing fantastic in our small yet humble apartment. Not sure if word got around but Jon and I found a great place to move into closer to campus and are now living the BYU married life experience. Its pretty good so far and hope it stays that way! :D Jon and i just got back from San Diego. We spent Christmas with his family. It was so nice! I couldnt have asked for a better week....except the week i got married. That was a pretty good one too. :D
I called this Christmas the Christmas of Firsts. The First Christmas being married, going away from home for Christmas, going to DISNEYLAND (never thought i would ever get the chance to go but i did with my hubby and his family), my first airplane ride, first Christmas with in-laws, first time going to the San Diego Temple (Actually going inside and doing a session and not just standing on the lawn wishing i could go in:). So all in all it was a pretty good christmas.
Not much else going on except the anticipation of Krys and Nates baby. She could literally have Milla anytime now. Man at this rate if we just keep having nieces they could take on the nephews. I wish everyone would just stop having babies for a sec ha ha. i need to catch up! When i graduated high school it was like everyone was going away to college and getting married then as soon as i get married everyone's having babies. When i start having kids everyones already going to have grand children ha ha. I hope not that long.
Jon survived his first semester in the Information Technology program and he is going to try and take it a bit easier this next semester. I guess he finally realized hes not superman ha ha. Before we were married he could handle all of the classes cuz he wasnt married and didnt have a job then but now he is married, has a job, and does school full time ........so thats what made him come to his realization of that he couldnt do everything and save the world too. Hes managed to convince the BYU Family History lab (his work) to re-do a bunch of their presentations that they teach to BYU students so he must be doing something right :D

Our first post AND our first apartment!
This is mine and Alana's official blog. Hope you like it!
So Alana and I signed a contract for our first apartment today. We'll be living at King Henry. Apparently they have married housing. It's very small but it will be fun to call home. We'll take some pictures later this week and post them online. We're planning to move in next week.
